Lilla Rose Giveaway!

Hair Intervention

Identity concealed to protect the innocent

*Update: This giveaway is now closed!  Congratulations to Sarah Ann, our winner!  Be sure to Like Five in Tow on Facebook, or follow me on Twitter, because more great giveaways are coming soon!

I have crazy hair.

The sight of my hair first thing in the morning is enough to stop songbirds from singing.  Small mammals flee from my pre-combed presence.

In order to make my hair look half-way presentable, I have to spend a lot of time in the bathroom wetting, scrunching, gelling, and diffusing.  It’s like having a sixth child.

Now, there are ways to compensate for bad hair days.  I think the French Braid was invented by someone who got tired of all the maintenance involved in having naturally curly hair.  I have never mastered the French Braid, however.  My fingers aren’t cut out for the kind of acrobatics involved in weaving my own hair behind my head.  I blame my mother, who refused to give me a fashion-forward big sister when I asked for one in seventh grade.

Alas, my hair sculpting talents have remained limited to the ponytail and the messy bun.  Lovely, right?

Messy Bun

Rockin’ the messy bun while painting something green

Sometimes, I try to compensate by adding hair accessories.  Sadly, I do not have a good track record with hair accessories.  Note, with horror, the example below:

Hair mistakes

It’s okay,  You can pity me.

Thankfully, Lilla Rose consultant Sarah Ives came to my rescue.  She promised she could help me, even though I have absolutely no aptitude for hair styling because my mother did not give me an older sister when I asked for one in seventh grade.  I believe I mentioned that already.

Sarah told me about the hair products she sells, which include a hair clip called a Flexi.  It is so ingeniously simple, even I can use it.  Plus, I can use it a million different ways to create beautiful hairstyles in no more time than it takes to pull it into a ponytail.  Lilla Rose even has  hairstyling tutorials for people like me.  Check out the video gallery!

Bad Hair Day

Sarah wanted to send me a Flexi to try, but first I had to watch a sizing video.  The video is short and extremely helpful.  I would not have known what size to order but the video makes it easy.  I needed a large Flexi.  But OH!  It was too hard to pick just one.  They are all so beautiful.  So I made Sarah pick for me.  Yep.  I did.

This is what she sent me.

Lilla Rose Flexi

Enchanting Copper Rose

The clip is simple and straightforward, but also very well made.  It has no plastic parts and it really does “flex” around all my hair.  It holds so well, I was able to keep it in while working out and it didn’t come loose and it didn’t tug uncomfortably.  In fact, I kind of forgot I was wearing it at all.

I love the fact that I can look nice and put together without spending time “doing” my hair.  With the Flexi, I can style my hair in just a few minutes and walk out the door, ready to go.  No birds stop singing, no small animals flee.  It is a beautiful thing.

Hairstyles for girls

A Flexi makes an easy up-do for my girls

Now, I know what you’re thinking.  You want one.  But you can’t have one.  You can have two!  That’s right!  Independent consultant Sarah Ives is sponsoring this giveaway, and she has generously agreed to let the winner choose two Flexi products (valued up to $16 each)!   One winner will be chosen at random at on Wednesday, February 20 at 10 pm PST.

Here’s how to enter!

1) Watch the sizing video.

2) Dream a little on Sarah’s website!  After you’ve watched the sizing video, shop around on her website,  then tell us which two Flexis you will choose if you win!

3) For an extra entry, you may also follow Sarah on Twitter, visit her Facebook page, or subscribe to her newsletter.  She will keep you up-to-date on sale prices, Limited Edition products, and more!

4) As always, you can earn an extra entry by sharing this giveaway on any social media site you frequent.  It’s hard to do.  I know.  But God still loves you.

5) If you have any questions, feel free to contact Sarah!  She’s absolutely wonderful to work with.  She loves what she does and will go the extra mile for you.  I have been exceedingly impressed with her!  She is a busy mom who manages to balance home and her own business, and that is enough to qualify her for Super Star status.  So, if you have any questions about the products, or even wonder about starting your own Lilla Rose business, Sarah’s your girl!

*This giveaway is open to readers in the US, Canada, and Mexico and to anyone who has not won a Lilla Rose giveaway in the past six months.

What a fun product, so many to choose from. I think I’d be a small or extra small. I really like the Simple Band or the Native Filigree Flower.

Ok, I liked her Facebook page, and shared the giveaway. I like so many of her choices but depending on if I was giving them away as a gift I would probably get either the silver scrollwork butterfly or the silver scrollwork heart in large or the etched tiger lily in extra small. Or maybe I’d give one and keep one! :-)

Alright already! I give up. ;) You say they are good so I’ll enter. Hopefully I’ll win, but if I don’t I will order one anyway. I’m still a little confused on the size but I think a medium (Curls & Swirls) and a large (Princess Tiara Aurora Bourealis) would work.

The two Lilla Rose items I’d pick are the “floral design” and the “Hawaiian Flower”…. So elegant and hard to choose…

I never win giveaways so I don’t know why I try, but I thoroughly enjoyed browsing through the flexi designs. These are beautiful! If I’m being practical, the celtic cross in gold and the plumeria flower would be just about perfect. The ones with dangling chains are particularly lovely.

I think I have hair similar to yours. Maybe curlier. I would want a medium Celtic Knot brown and a small simple band brown wood. I’m a simple girl with 21month old triplets – they’d be pulling on anything that had dangles!

This looks like a Great product. Our house is full of long hair and we are always looking for solutions. I liked the Music Lover (medium) for Sophia and the Open flower (extra small) for Kenzie.

I would love to try these! I’d probably get the extra-small, since I have short hair (too short for a ponytail) & I’d just do a half-up. I love all the designs! If I had to choose just two, I’d pick the Simple Band Black Nickel & the Lovely Circle Stoneset (maybe…I keep changing my mind. Lol!)

Watched sizing video, liked on fb, shared on fb, and I would choose a small Simple Band Dark Wood (1-1294) and medium Open Flower Jet Black (2-1262). They look beautiful and I hope to try one!

What pretty and useful product. I “dreamed” and came up with a small open flower jet, and the extra small simple band black nickel. Thanks for the fun.
